Christian County supports military-connected families at Fort Campbell through youth and family programs in partnership with Child & Youth Services, DODEA schools, Homeschool Program, and community events like Farm Day and Public Lands Day. Christian County Extension professionals engage Active Duty, Reserve, Guard, Veterans, and families across service branches stationed at the post.

Hardin County partners with Fort Knox to support military-connected youth and families through 4-H clubs, after-school programs, summer camps, and activities at Devers Middle School and Teen Center and the Donna Kirby School Age Center located on Fort Knox. With a focus on cooking, arts, technology, and leadership programming, Extension provides hands-on learning for Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, and Veteran families in collaboration with the Fort Knox School Liaison and the Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs serving Fort Knox and its community. Hardin County also has beginner beekeeping, teen club, homeschool club and the Hardin County Fair, etc.

Spencer County Extension supports Veterans and their families through partnerships with One Up for food distribution and with the local library for "Veterans' Coffee and Talk". They also provide opportunities to build resilience through classes on stress management, mindfulness, and mental health. The Spencer County Homemakers Association welcomes Veteran and military families to participate in their programs.

Wayne County Extension offers a strong 4-H program with Ambassadors, Cloverbuds, Art Club, Camps, the Country Ham Project, and more. They support National Guard families through school enrichment, Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG), Family Readiness Group meetings, HERO packs to deployed soldiers, and family mealtime programs. Monthly newsletters and events like the Wayne County Fair and Horse Show further connect National Guard members, spouses, and youth across all ages.
